Harry Levene
Born in 1957, Harry graduates from St. Martin's School of Art with an honour dregree, having previously studied at Middlesex Polytechnic, London and having carried out a course of Sotheby's Works of Art in 1978. His interest in the relationship between word and image lead to the development of a multi-media project, which continues to form part of a practice embracing both traditional and new media. As a counterpoint to the use of new technologies, found or discarded materials have been integrated into hand crafted individual works that point up individuality whilst acting as a means to reinterpret ancient narratives.
